Sabelo J. Ndlovu-Gatsheni is Professor/Chair of Epistemologies of the Global South at the University of Bayreuth in Germany. He IS the founder of African Decolonial Research Network (ADERN) and has published extensively on African history, African politics, African development and decoloniality/ decolonization as a theory and a planetary vision of liberation. His two latest major publications include: Epistemic Freedom in Africa: Deprovincialzation and Decolonizai (Routledge, July 2018) and Decolonization, Development and Knowledge in Africa: Turning Over a New Leaf (Routledge, May 2020).
