Kerb serves as a student-led platform for discourse around emerging landscape ideas and practices. Each issue’s theme reflects the concerns and interests of the editorial team, inviting pithy and incisive contributions from established and emerging voices. By curating perspectives from the field of landscape architecture and beyond, the journal aims expand the way landscape is appreciated and approached. Per its legacy, Kerb is a generator of discourse as well as a reflection of RMIT’s student culture—edgy, experimental, future-focused—hosting a range of student-led events each year.
Kerb is produced annually, with Expressions of Interest invited in March/April towards publication each November.
Kerb is published by Uro with art direction provided by Trampoline. Print and digital copies are available via Bookshop by Uro. The Kerb team is supported by a Supervising Editor from RMIT’s LA team and an Editorial Board, which provides creative guidance in the development of the issue.
Kerb is a not-for-profit publication and made possible through the generous support of its sponsors.
