Jialin Wu is a student at RMIT University. She is experienced working on a variety of projects including urban design, landscape installations and architecture design. She has a strong commitment to innovative ideas and always loves to get her hands dirty to test and realise them. With key interests in memorial landscapes, cemeteries and abandoned spaces, Jialin approaches landscape architecture from an untraditional perspective. She cares about social justice and ecological rights for both humans and non-humans. She firmly believes that landscape is the softest and gentlest yet most powerful hyper object: a space, a way of thinking, a touchable spirit.
