Niki Kakali holds a 5-year degree in Architecture Engineering from the Architecture Department of University of Patras in Greece. She had worked with different practices and various academic, cultural and social institutions, before enrolling in the MA Landscape Urbanism programme at the Architectural Association. She has taken part in several international competitions and workshops, both as an individual and as an associate architect collaborating with Drifting City. She was awarded the 1st Prize in the architectural student competition 'Newgreenpark', regarding a planning for the park of environmental awareness Antonis Tritsis Park in Athens. Her work has been published in architectural exhibitions and publications worldwide.
