Rod Barnett is program leader and lecturer in landscape architecture at UNITEC Institute of Technology Auckland, New Zealand. Additionally Barnett maintains an award winning practice and is widely published with both projects and articles. He is author of the book 'Garden Style in New Zealand' and is currently researching the poetics of landscape architecture, the contemporary garden and ecological urban design.
