Edition 17—
Is LA Dead?
Edited and Produced by
Kerb 17 asks the vital question, is landscape architecture dead?
Landscape architecture exists as an educational and professional system that establishes the ground for a confrontation between academia and professional practice. Two contradicting modes of thought collide throughout the design process. It is time, proposes the editors and the contributors, for landscape architectural practice and academia to evolve into a hybrid entity that supersedes both existing models.
This issue features contributions from Jon Kaitler, Oron Catts of Symbiotica, Farshid Moussavi & Alejandro Zaera Polo, Site Office and many more.
